Before reporting any issues with the appliances, it is important you try to to fix the problem. 9 out of 10 times the solution to the problem is very simple and does not require a professional. If there are still issues with the appliances after you attempt troubleshooting, then you can fill out the maintenance request form and we will have the problem fixed as soon as possible. We have added some "how to" videos below for the issues our tenants have had in the past.
Once you have filled out the maintenance repair form, a representative will contact you for the make, model and serial number of the appliance. We may also a request pictures or a video of what the issue is. We cannot send a repair person unless we have this information, so before you fill out the form, we suggest you take pictures/videos of these items. This way you have them readily available should we call when you are not home.
Once the service work is done, it is up to you to maintain the appliance to the best of your ability as per your lease agreement. Do not neglect to take proper care of the appliances in your rental unit.
To locate the make of the appliance, you would just look for the name of the brand. To locate the model, and serial number, you will need to open the doors and the drawers of the appliance. They are usually on the perimeter on a white label. This is an example of what it may look like.
Your dishwasher cleans your dishes, but is not a garburator. If you leave food and oil on your dishes and run your dishwasher, you will experience build up. This build up causes clogging and flooding. Your dishes will start to look dirty and even smell after the cycle is done.
If your dishwasher is not draining because it is so clogged, you will need to use a cup to bail out the water before you can clean the dishwasher further.

Odours and build up can accumulate over time. Use this video if you are finding that your clothes aren't smelling the most fresh when the washing cycle is finished.
Remember: Every time you use the dryer, you need to remove the lint. If not, this can start a fire.
Food and water that is burnt on to glass stove tops can seem impossible to remove. Use this video to clean your stove with only water, vinegar and baking soda.
All you need is vinegar! Helps bad smells, as well as caked on food in the microwave.
